There are mainly three reasons for this blog, though you might say it’s only two. First of all I got a deadline from an old and very good friend of mine, saying something like: “..before the end of the year you got to get your own blog”. So I thought, well, why not do it now! Second it’s a Facebook thing, controlling your own content (well, this is actually the same reason as number one). Third reason is the same as everybody, I’m a music lover and I’m growing old, so I think I should show the world what good music is all about (not unlike Dylan in his radio show, but I wouldn’t compare myself to Dylan of course!) So here it is, irregularly updated with whatever comes to my mind, mostly read by noone, so bear with me, I’m a first time blogger and I’m a slow learner.
When your friend said “before the end of the year, you got to get your own blog”, what they probably meant was for you to write your own material instead of re-posting other bloggers’ hard work. If you’re a music lover, prove it by using your own ears, words, and feelings. Or at least do a better job of indicating that the post isn’t yours.
I’m the guy who wrote “your post” about Big Harp.
I’m sorry if I hurt your feelings. The blog is only to keep the videos and music that I like and post in one spot. And there is always a source link at the bottom of the blogquote. But i have ofcourse taken your words down and will in future make it more visible that those are not my words but words I find appropriate. I kind of thought most bloggers and writers wanted their words spread. Sorry for the late response but I don’t check the comments very often.
I hope you are doing great! I wanted to send you one of personal favorite artists I have ever worked with. She blends country, Americana, rock and folk and was recently featured on NPR and CBS. Below find her new video, music and bio- thank you for your consideration for a review of her new EP – it is out March 4th.
Thanks so much,
